Social in 60 Seconds: How to Combat the Facebook Reach Decline

In today’s #SocialIn60 we look at how to combat the Facebook reach decline.

Did you know that Facebook’s post reach is as low as 2 percent for large brands? This means you should test a variety of posts, figure out the time your content is most likely to get the most engagement and track your traffic with Google Analytics.

Next you want to focus on shares. Try running photo contests or creating promotions to incentivize sharing. Then focus on embracing a multi-network campaign strategy. An easy way to accomplish this is with a hashtag campaign run on Facebook, Twitter and Google+.

Thanks for listening to Social in 60! Follow me at @WTWH_Heather for more tips.
