As the founder of The Darnell Group and Darnell Research, Inc., Jeff launched the PowerPulse.net website in 1999 – the first daily news website for the global power electronics engineering community. Additionally, he published The PowerPulseDaily newsletter, which covered the latest technology and industry developments in all aspects of power semiconductors and power electronics. In addition to other research activities, Jeff has authored and contributed industry reports on AC power, DC power, Energy Harvesting, and more. Jeff is a mathematical economist and technologist with over 30-years of experience in the power electronics industry and began his career as an applications engineer and marketing manager in 1979.
