Back to the Future
It feels like 1995. Last night as insomnia kept me hard at work, I got an iteration of the ‘Engineering Exchange’ App submitted to Apple for approval – build #18772- to be sure at 4am. So as I uploaded the binary I thought of the days of charging folks $85 / hour for basic html and guidance through the domain reg processes along with choosing a host- Abracadabra and here is your site. You want a rollover menu buttons with that? Spinning logo? Guestbook? Sure thats going to be a little more. Anyway the point is that technology barriers continue to come down in a big way fast and access to participation is enabled by leading technologies and developers. And we get to leave out the bleed part out for now. And then saw today a post on mobile ad spending projections. Early morning sleep deprivation keeping us going in the right direction and hope I can report back on App approval in the next week.
Update – Apple needs a test account and required some data rate tweaking before approval. On to version 1.2…
