The trend has improved in the area of manufacturing optimism in the month of February. The all-important ISM index was reported today and it climbed to 53.2% which is optimistic because it continues to bounce back. Any report over 50% indicates more positive feelings about manufacturing than negative.
Later this week, the jobs report should add to the move in the right direction for our manufacturing economy. Also, starting tomorrow, the IFPE/ConExpo/ConAgg takes place at the Las Vegas Convention Center. This is a key time for the fluid power industry because it is a major forum for innovative fluid power products.
