Design World Expands Online Editorial Team
Site-specific editors added to accommodate growth in CAD, motion control technologies, and multimedia online development projects.
Cleveland, Ohio – WTWH Media, LLC, publisher of Design World Magazine and the Design World Network, today announced that they have expanded their editorial team to include site specific editors for their 3D CAD, motion, and rich media online development projects.
Matt Lombard, author of the SolidWorks Bible, independent CAD user, and regular blogger on CAD issues at www.dezignstuff.com, joins as site editor for www.3dcadtips.com. Matt will be hosting weekly video tutorials on various cad packages as well as inviting other CAD users to contribute tips and tricks to help users improve their 3DCAD knowledge.
Miles Budimir joins as site editor for the vertical motion-control community within the Design World Network. Miles has a background in electrical engineering, is currently a professor of engineering ethics at Cleveland State University, and was previously a motion control editor for a design engineering trade magazine. Miles will be the primary editor for www.motioncontroltips.com, www.linearmotiontips.com and www.couplingtips.com.
Paul Dvorak, a mechanical engineer and former editor for a medical design publication, joins the Design World Network to lead and direct the company on a number of new vertical online communities launching later this year.
According to Mike Emich, co-founder of Design World, “We are continuing to invest in people and technology to build the most comprehensive online network available to design engineers. Matt, Miles and Paul are great additions to the strongest editorial team in the design engineering space. We’re excited to have them on board.”
